Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Full label with doses (via NuviaLab)
  • Zinc and selenium within NHS limits

Cons

  • Tribulus ineffective for testosterone
  • DAA, maca and fenugreek far below trial doses

Who Is This For?

Recommended For:

We would not recommend it. Most of its ingredients do not raise testosterone or are far below trial doses, and its vitamin B6 exceeds UK advice.

Not Recommended For:

Men with symptoms of low testosterone who have not had a blood test; anyone already taking a B6 or B-complex supplement; men with prostate problems or on hormone therapy; competitive athletes; anyone taking diabetes or blood-pressure medication without checking with a doctor; and children and pregnant or breastfeeding women (the label's own exclusion).

Summary

What is in it, per 4 capsules: fenugreek 400 mg, tribulus 400 mg, D-aspartic acid 400 mg, maca 200 mg, Korean ginseng 200 mg, ginger, pomegranate, phosphatidylserine, black pepper, vitamin E, vitamin B6 11.2 mg, magnesium, zinc 15 mg and selenium 100 µg.

What the evidence says:

  • A 2024 review found most testosterone boosters fail to raise total testosterone.
  • Tribulus does not raise testosterone; D-aspartic acid and maca are at a fraction of their trial doses.
  • Vitamin B6 is above the NHS advice of no more than 10 mg a day from supplements.

There is no money-back guarantee; the terms allow 10 days from purchase.

Ingredient Breakdown

The label (published by co-seller NuviaLab, not on the Italian page) lists, per 4 capsules: fenugreek seed extract [25% saponins] 400 mg, tribulus fruit extract [40% saponins] 400 mg, D-aspartic acid 400 mg, maca root extract 200 mg, Korean ginseng root extract 200 mg, ginger [5% gingerols] 133 mg, pomegranate seed [40% ellagic acid] 133 mg, phosphatidylserine 60 mg, black pepper [95% piperine] 2 mg, vitamin E 48 mg, vitamin B6 11.2 mg, magnesium 112.5 mg, zinc 15 mg and selenium 100 µg.

What the research shows:

  1. Fenugreek. A branded extract (Testofen) at 600 mg a day raised testosterone in 120 men aged 43 to 70. Testolan uses a generic extract at 400 mg; a 2026 meta-analysis rates fenugreek evidence very low certainty.
  2. Tribulus. A systematic review concluded it "is ineffective for increasing testosterone levels in humans".
  3. D-aspartic acid. An early 12-day study was positive; in trained men, 3 g a day did nothing and 6 g a day lowered testosterone.
  4. Maca. 1.5 to 3 g a day improved sexual desire, but testosterone did not change.
  5. Korean ginseng, ginger, pomegranate, phosphatidylserine. We found no testosterone trials at these doses.
  6. Zinc and selenium. Within NHS limits; zinc helps only if you are deficient.

What is not in it: no ashwagandha, which an earlier version of this review listed at 600 mg.

What Testolan does not tell you

No amounts published

Testolan names its ingredients but publishes no amount for any of them, so there is nothing here to check against the research.

Amounts are taken from the manufacturer’s own supplement facts panel. Where a label states a standardisation, the active fraction is what we compare, because the active is what the trials measured.

Dosage Analysis

Our Dose Check compares each label amount with the best human study.

  • Fenugreek: 400 mg of a generic extract vs 600 mg a day of Testofen. 67%, and a different extract.
  • D-aspartic acid: 400 mg vs 3 g a day, which had no effect. 13%.
  • Maca: 200 mg vs 1.5 to 3 g a day, which did not change testosterone. 7 to 13%.
  • Tribulus: 400 mg; ineffective at any studied dose.
  • Vitamin B6: 11.2 mg, above the NHS 10 mg a day advice.
  • Zinc and selenium: 15 mg and 100 µg, within NHS limits.

The directions say 2 capsules twice a day. A bottle of 120 lasts a month.

Quality & Testing

Our Transparency Score checks five things a buyer can verify. Testolan scores 2 out of 5.

  • Label with doses: yes. Every ingredient is dosed on NuviaLab's store, though not on the Italian page our link reaches.
  • Identifiable company: no. The terms name only "Testolan.it, Hong Kong", with the address "Stanley Street, Hong Kong", under Hong Kong law. No registration or manufacturer is given.
  • Refund terms in writing: yes. 10 calendar days from purchase, unused goods only.
  • Independent testing shown: no.
  • Study on the finished product: no. The Italian page shows three e-mail testimonials with Dutch headers ("Van", "Thema", "Naar").

NuviaLab, the co-seller, has 1.9 out of 5 from 148 reviews on Trustpilot.

Correction. An earlier version of this review listed KSM-66 ashwagandha 600 mg (not in it), Testofen 600 mg and D-aspartic acid 2 g (it has 400 mg of each ingredient), a 3-capsule serving and a 20-day bottle, said it was made in a GMP-certified EU facility, and showed a 90-day guarantee and free shipping. We have corrected it.

Value for Money

Prices when we checked in September 2026:

  • Italian site (where our link leads, in Italian): €49.99 for 1 bottle, €99.98 for 2+1 (€33.32 each), €149.97 for 3+3 (€24.99 each), plus €8 shipping by card or €14 cash on delivery.
  • US site: $54.99, $109.98 and $164.97, plus $12 shipping to the US.

Refunds. The Italian page has headings "Efficacia garantita" and "Soddisfazione garantita" but offers no money-back guarantee. The terms say the customer may withdraw only "entro 10 giorni di calendario dalla data di acquisto della merce", after a written statement, and that goods "non possono recare segni di uso" (must show no signs of use). They add: "Il diritto della UE non è applicabile" (EU law does not apply).

Side Effects & Safety

  • Vitamin B6: 11.2 mg a day. The NHS says: "Do not take more than 10mg of vitamin B6 a day in supplements unless advised to by a doctor"; 200 mg or more can cause nerve damage, and the effect between 10 and 200 mg "is unclear".
  • D-aspartic acid: at 6 g a day it lowered testosterone in trained men; the dose here is far smaller.
  • Contamination risk: the FDA warns that bodybuilding products labelled as supplements may contain hidden steroids.

The Italian page says: "questo prodotto è completamente sicuro. Non provoca effetti collaterali" (completely safe, no side effects). There is no clinical study of Testolan itself.

Final Verdict

Our Verdict

3.6/5

Testolan publishes its doses through a co-seller, but its formula leans on tribulus, which does not raise testosterone, and on D-aspartic acid, maca and fenugreek at 7% to 67% of trial doses. Its vitamin B6 exceeds NHS advice, the seller is a Hong Kong domain with no registered company, and the terms allow 10 days to cancel. Our link lands on an Italian page priced in euros.
